About the choir

Welcome

Green Lanes Singers is a new community choir conducted by Kathy Macaulay, launching on 19 October 2026. There are no auditions and everyone is welcome!

We believe everyone can sing, and the choir’s conductor will help you gain confidence and control using your voice. You don’t need to have sung in a choir before to join, and we will use a combination of sheet music and learning by ear.

The choir is part of the Hannah Brine family of choirs, which includes groups in North and East London, Greater Manchester, Cheshire and Derbyshire.

Hannah’s choirs have performed at the BBC Proms, Royal Variety Show, Olivier Awards and many other events. She was awarded an inaugural BBC Unsung Hero Award for her work with community choirs.
